Päivitys 17.9.20. Alun perin tiistaille 26.5.2020 suunniteltu Van Der Graaf Generator -konsertti siirtyy koronavirustilanteen vuoksi vielä kerran (alun perin korvaavan esityksen piti olla pe 6.11.2020). Uusi esitysajankohta on sunnuntai 24.10.2021 klo 19. Jo hankitut liput kelpaavat sellaisenaan myös tulevaan konserttiin.

“It’s a matter of great regret to us that once again we’ve had to reschedule our shows in Helsinki, this time to late in 2021. It’s clear, though, that the problems relating to public performance (and, indeed, travel) in the time of C-19 are not going to have been resolved in the next ten weeks. Even if, miraculously, a vaccine were to pass safety tests by then it woludn’t be ready for mass distribution. Music is wonderful stuff and live music can be, we hope, exciting even to the point of being dangerous. But in these most serious of times we cannot justify putting ourselves, our crew, our audience and all those who work in venues into real and mortal danger for the sake of musical performance. So we must wait, with eager anticipation, for next year. We look forward to seeing you then.” – Peter Hammill

Savoy on pieni teatteri  ja VDGG on proge-legenda joka kiinnostaa ihmisiä, varsinkin kun bändi on nyt tulossa ensimmäistä kertaa Suomeen. Niinpä keikka myytiin nopeasti loppuun, mutta onneksi saatiin vielä toinen keikka eli rannalle jäneet saavat nyt uuden tilaisuuden. Aiheesta tarkemmin täällä:
